The Štajerska capital became the European Best Green Capital 2025

Maribor will enter in 2025 with the title of "European Best Green Capital ". Copenhagen (Denmark) and Riga (Latvia) took second and third place on the list of European cities offering excellent culinary experiences, vibrant nightlife, diverse cultural events, and breathtaking natural beauty. In 2023, Maribor was named the best culinary destination, and in 2024, it was recognized as the best autumn destination in Europe.
