Jeruzalemsko-Ormoške gorice Landscape Park

The Jeruzalemsko–Ormoške Gorice Landscape Park is a protected wine-growing area in the Municipality of Ormož, designated in 1992. It stretches over approximately 1,900 hectares of rolling hills between the Mura and Drava rivers. With its characteristic terraced vineyards, orchards and forests, it forms part of the Prlekija region and is considered one of the most beautiful wine landscapes in Slovenia.

At the heart of the park stands Jeruzalem – a scenic hill topped with a well-known church, offering sweeping views over the endless wine hills. Here, rich wine-growing heritage meets excellent local cuisine. Visitors are drawn by the well-maintained wine routes, numerous hiking and cycling trails, traditional klopotec (vineyard wind-rattle), old wine cellars and outstanding local wines, especially Šipon.
